Clinical psychologist website review
Posted on 03-04-2009 by pete and filed under medical website, self improvement
I was surprised to find quite a lot of visitor search traffic for clinical psychologists and therapists… I guess the web offers the most access and privacy when it comes to researching who to choose for help.
Dr. Ellen Schecter’s website does offer good information about her services but is
- hard to find in Google search and
- not organized to lead a visitor down the path of contacting her for her services
Watch the video below to see how these 2 problems can be solved.

Hi Pete,
Nice job! You made some great points and were quite helpful. It’s a great service you provide!
One explanation re: not using “customer” reviews, just fyi– there’s a possible ethical issue with reviews/testimonials for therapists (or at least for psychologists), with arguments for and against them as ethical. I originally had some on my website but when researching the issue, I found the possible problem. Until I know for sure it’s ethical, I won’t use testimonials or reviews (not worth losing my license over!).
Thanks again Pete!
Best, Ellen
